Did you make a New Year’s resolution to start exercising and here it is May, and you haven’t even started? Well, now’s the time to make good on your resolution.
Are you trying to lose a few pounds or increase your endurance? Here at Wellness Warriors Center, we work with you to design an exercise plan that’s right for you, targeting the areas of your body you want to enhance. We offer everything from exercise machines and dance fitness to strength training, kick boxing and crossfit. No matter what you are wanting to accomplish with your exercise plan, we have a program for you.
For those who know they need to eat healthier in addition to exercise, we offer nutrition classes where we explain the nutritional benefits of various foods. Our vegan recipes are delicious and something you will want to try.
Not sure you’re ready to start an exercise program just yet? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say, “Only a few lifestyle choices have as large an impact on your health as physical activity. People who are physically active for about 150 minutes a week have a 33% lower risk of all-cause mortality than those who are physically inactive.”
And National Institute on Aging says, “For people with diabetes, exercise and physical activity can help manage the disease and help you stay healthy longer.” Isn’t that what we all want?
